  • Breathwork can be any form of adapting your breathing pattern consciously by focusing on inhale, exhale, pausing, holding or it can mean simply being aware of the flow and placement of your breath without changing a thing. There are many different techniques and breath protocols with different applications.

  • We use a wide variety of breathwork tools depending on your individual needs as there is no one-size-fits-all. Therapeutic breathwork refers to a practice that focuses on emotional integration of held or surprised feelings, while functional breathwork focuses on addressing complaints that express more physically.

  • Psychotherapy is often referred to as talking therapy and aims at helping you navigate mental health issues. By talking with your therapist you explore your moods, thoughts, feelings and behaviours. There are many different styles and approaches. Together with your therapist you will decide what will work best for you. Psychotherapy has been shown to be helpful with a wide range of issues, including:

  • Somatic psychotherapy works on the basis that body and mind are one. In this modality we use the body to reference memories, feelings, sensations and mood states. Trauma can make relating to the body difficult where sensations and physiological responses can be interpreted as threatening. In somatic psychotherapy we aim to create a feeling of safety within the body and befriend our internal states.Over time we learn to recognise our triggers and how to support our body to regulate itself.
